I am the only child of loving parents who took me to Sunday school as a child.  I didn’t pursue the church life, but learnt about the Bible and was taught all the lovely stories of Genesis and the Gospels at school.  We had assemblies and were encouraged to worship and pray.  Jesus to me, growing up, was another man from history with good morals, the Bible another reference book on the shelf.As an adult, I had a string of bad relationships, dipped in and out of church, hurt my family, my children and myself.  I always wanted more.  I thought that this was achieved through money and possessions. I did everything in my own strength, which failed every time!I found my self in the pit of despair.  I cried out for help.Jesus found me there and saved me.  His grace showed me forgiveness, unconditional love, faith, encouraged me to trust again.  He cleansed me from within to be a better person.  He gave me a fresh hope for the future and a new found honesty
