Planning a Visit
Can i attend if im.....
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, a single parent, broke, an addict, bi-racial, a skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Tenerife Family Church. In fact, we’re all broken people! There are people attending Tenerife Family Church who have major hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We’re a community of people who don’t have it all together but are discovering what it means to find life in Jesus, to follow him fully, to break free from our past, and to walk in victory together. That’s who WE are... so come as YOU are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
Are the services translated?
Yes! We have a translation team and every part of our service is translated into Spanish. Let us know when you arrive that you would like to hear the service in Spanish and our team will direct you to the designated Spanish speakers seats where you will find your headsets.
Where can I park?
There is free parking right infront of TFC. There are 100 of free spaces every Sunday morning as all the businesses surrounding us are closed.
Where and When do you meet?
Our services take place every Sunday morning at 10.30 am and last approximately an hour and a half. You can find us at: Avenida Claudio Delgado Díaz, 101, Las Chafiras. Clic here to find us on Google Maps.
We are roughly a 10 minute drive from Las Americas and 7 minutes from Los Cristianos. You can also catch the numbers 40, 111, and 450 buses from Los Cristianos bus station, and you MUST get off at the Las Chafiras bus stop.

Will anyone speak to me?
We love welcoming new people and getting to know them and we definitely would like to say hello! Please feel free to say “This is my first time” and our welcome team will guide you in and show you where to find a seat, the toilets, children's ministry and cafeteria. At the end of the service we always enjoy some time of fellowship in the cafeteria so feel free to stay and chat with us.If you need anything else at all throughout the morning — a Bible, a pen or a glass of water — just ask any of us, we’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you!
What should I wear?
We're more concerned with people's hearts than what they are wearing! Our dress code is simple: just wear whatever you are comfortable in. Most people dress casually but feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
What do you do for Kids?
In TFC Kids, children 15 years old and younger separated in two groups, young kids (3-9) and youth (10-15) experience Jesus on their level. TFC Kids is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time. Please let us know if your child has a special need and is planning to join us.For nursing mothers, we also have a crèche/viewing room where parents and infants can watch and listen to the service together.
What happens on a Sunday?
We know that visiting a new church can often be intimidating so don’t worry, we won’t ask you to raise your hand as our guest or do anything that will embarrass or single you out in any way. So, on arrival, feel free to take a seat anywhere, we will sing a few songs, hear someone's testimony (a short, 7 minute life-story) and each week's message lasts for about 30-40 minutes. At the end of the meeting, there is a prayer team available for anyone who wants to respond to anything that has taken place. After the service we would love to say hello and welcome you properly so please stay around for tea, coffee and/or other refreshments in out cafeteria.
