Favourite Scripture: Romans 8:38-39 - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And 2 Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-control.

What makes me laugh: The short circuits caused by living in two languages when translation is impossible.

I am a native Canarian and have lived in Tenerife most of my life, with some years spent in Pretoria, South Africa. I work as Management Coordinator for a Hotel Group, which means I liaise with all group departments at the management level and coordinate the input of external professionals (AKA bossing everyone around) so as Church Secretary, I get to apply my “organising skills” in church!

 

However, you will often see me preaching and praying for people too! I would like to see all the obstacles of tradition, culture and history of Spanish society that stand in the way of a personal relationship with Jesus, debunked. I have two wonderful children, now young adults, who make me very proud every day. I also share my home with a very misunderstood cat! In my spare time, you can either find me enjoying a good book; cooking or practising guitar. If you can’t find me, I’ve gone hiking and will be back shortly.
