Interested in getting more involved? If you feel led to call Tenerife Family Church your church home, one of the best ways to plug in is through serving. Serving together is one way we become family; as we serve, we create deeper connections with God and with each other; we discover our spiritual gifts, and we partner with God in blessing others. We know God designed you with unique gifts, passions, and talents, and we want to help you find a place to use them!

Welcome
If you love making people feel happy this team is for you!
This team arrives early and greets people at all of the entrances and
helps people get checked in and in the right spot.
Facilities
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. These volunteers get that. These men and women create a clean and welcoming environment for all Tenerife Family Church gatherings and are available to set up and pack down after the meeting. Serving opportunities are available on Sundays and throughout the week. This is a perfect team for anyone who enjoys serving behind the scenes.
worship
This team exists to create opportunities for people to exalt the Living God and encounter his transformational presence in worship. Play an instrument? Sing? Love Jesus? Come join the team! (This will require an interview and audition as it is a spiritual ministry of the church).
discipleship
Have a heart to make disciples who make disciples? Could you serve during the week by leading a connect group in your home or by supporting a leader in your local area? Get in touch!
transport
This team is vital as it makes it easy and possible for new people to attend on a Sunday. If you could be available once or twice a month to give someone a lift to and from church, you may be part of their salvation story! There are opportunities to be used throughout the week also.
visitors
If you love chatting to new people this team is for you!
Volunteers aim to chat to, welcome and serve our visitors before and
after the service. Our goal is to help people feel welcome and part of our church family. This team arrives early and often sacrifices chatting to their own “friends” first.
son seekers
This is our children’s ministry uniquely designed for kids to experience Jesus on their level! No matter your role, you will be helping to create a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment for kids where the Bible can come to life and relationships can be built. You may need to be DBS checked before serving on this team.
creative
If you are a creative person and you would love to get involved with graphic design, web design, social media, videography, photography or writing, we would love to have you join our team! Some of these opportunities will require an adequate level of skill.
prayer
Be available to pray with people during the services and join the prayer team during special times of prayer including prayer walks before the service. We will need to know you well and training may also be required for this role.
Advertising
We run many events throughout the year and are always looking for willing volunteers to help us flyer local areas. Serve and exercise at the same time.
Tea and Coffee
This team is crucial!! :-)
They get to church by 9:30 to set up the tea and coffee station and serve the church after the service ends. We love this team lots!
youth
Have a heart to input into our youth aged 12 – 18 in worship and small groups on Thursday nights and for special outings, trips, and other events? You may need to be DBS checked before serving on this team.
Media
The Media team exists to help create excellent services each weekend! This includes audio, lighting, live streaming, video switching, slides, media, videography, and camera. We’ll train and equip you to be a part of creating an awesome atmosphere. This team arrives early and communicates throughout the week with other teams participating on Sundays.
