Welcome to Tenerife Family Church
in Costa Del Silencio!

Bill and Roz Jeffery (Senior Pastors) can often be found leading the service in Silencio alongside other members of our core leadership team. Our church offices are also based here and the majority of our weekly events take place at this location.

Our church in Costa del Silencio offers a family service feeling due to it being our main, central location with our building and facilities. We have live worship, led by our worship band, a fantastic teaching team, and a vibrant Kids work.

We have attempted to answer the most common questions about what to expect on a Sunday in Silencio but please feel free to drop us a line if there is anything else we can help you with!

  • Where and When do you meet?
Our services take place every Sunday morning at 10.30 am and last approximately an hour and a half. You can find us at: Coral Mar Square, Costa del Silencio, Arona. We are on the bottom floor of Coral Mar Square in the top left hand corner. (Click here for directions and pictures of our main entrance). We are roughly a 15 minute drive from Las Americas and Los Cristianos. You can also catch the number 467 bus from Los Cristianos bus station, the last stop on this route is very close to Coral Mar Square, however it is about an hours bus ride. If you would like to attend and are struggling with transport, please contact us as lifts are often available.
  • Where can I park?
There is free parking on the roads surrounding Coral Mar Square and plenty of residential roads you can also park on for free. Avoid spaces with blue signs nearby, the majority of these are telling you hours that you CAN park between but often confuse people! Come early to find spaces easier! Disabled parking spaces can be found on Calle Minerva next to the DialPrix Supermarket.
  • What happens on a Sunday?
We know that visiting a new church can often be intimidating so don’t worry, we won’t ask you to raise your hand as our guest or do anything that will embarrass or single you out in any way. So, on arrival, feel free to take a seat anywhere, we will play a few songs, hear someone's testimony (a short, 7 minute life-story) and each week's message lasts for about 30 minutes. At the end of the meeting, there is a prayer team available for anyone who wants to respond to anything that has taken place. After the service we would love to say hello and welcome you properly so please stay around for tea, coffee and/or other refreshments on us. (click here for the more detailed version!)
  • What do you do for Kids?
In Son Seekers, children 14 years old and younger experience Jesus on their level. Son Seekers is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time. Please let us know if your child has a special need and is planning to join us. For nursing mothers, we also have a creche/viewing room where parents and infants can watch and listen to the service together.
  • What should I wear?
We're more concerned with people's hearts than what they are wearing! Our dress code is simple: wear something. Most people dress casually but feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
  • Will anyone speak to me?
We love welcoming new people and getting to know them and we definitely would like to say hello! Don't worry though, we won't embarrass you or single you out in any way. We have to admit though, it can sometimes be tricky for us to remember if a visitor has been before or if this is their first time so please feel free to say “This is my first time” and we'll guide you in and show you where to find the visitors stand, toilets and children's ministry and best of all, we will make sure you get served tea and coffee first at the end of the meeting so please stay around! If you need anything else at all throughout the morning — a Bible, or a pen or a glass of water — just ask anyone, we’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you!
  • Can I attend if I'm _____
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, a single parent, broke, an addict, bi-racial, a skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Tenerife Family Church. In fact, we’re all broken people! There are people attending Tenerife Family Church who have major hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We’re a community of people who don’t have it all together but are discovering what it means to find life in Jesus, to follow him fully, to break free from our past, and to walk in victory together. That’s who we are... so come as YOU are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
  • Are your services translated?
Yes! We have a translation team and every part of our service is translated into Spanish. Let us know when you arrive that you would like to hear the service in Spanish and our team will direct you to the designated spanish speakers seats where you will find your headsets. We also have a service in Spanish on a Monday evening at the church building at 6pm. All are welcome and the worship is very lively :)
