I was born again at Tenerife Family Church (TFC), thanks to my beautiful wife, Francie, who has been my true inspiration throughout my walk with Jesus. I never planned to become part of a church. In fact, I never imagined I would even set foot inside one! I didn't even know there was an evangelical Christian community here in Tenerife, despite having lived on the island for over 33 years!
My wife and I are currently in our 3rd year of Bible Institute with Pastor Bill and Roz, and I am excited to discover where God will lead us in the years ahead.
in March 2026, Pastor Bill has appointed me as his Ministry Assistant, a responsibility I take seriously and consider a privilege. My heart is to help TFC grow into a strong, established church in Tenerife, where the Word of God is faithfully preached and the full truth of the Gospel remains at the centre of everything we do. Taking every opportunity to share the Word of God with everyone.
It is especially encouraging to see more and more young people coming to know Jesus. I have become increasingly involved in the youth and young adults ministries, investing in the next generation and helping them build a strong foundation of faith as they prepare for the challenges and opportunities of life. I believe God has a purpose for every young person, and I want to play my part in helping them discover it.
And what about the media ministry?
If you are one of the thousands of people who have watched our livestream, or if you have joined us in person and enjoyed the worship and the message, I am one of the people working behind the scenes to help make it all happen. Alongside a dedicated team, I work to ensure that the worship, the preaching and the message of the Gospel reach people both inside and outside our church building.
For me, this is about far more than cameras, sound and livestreams. It is about serving God, supporting the church and helping the Gospel reach people who might never otherwise hear it.
I am grateful to my wife, Francie, for being such an inspiration in my faith, to Pastor Bill and Roz for their guidance, and to the wider TFC family for being part of this journey.
Above all, I give thanks to God for His grace, for the transformation He has brought into my life, and for the privilege of serving Him. I look forward with faith and expectation to all that He has planned for Tenerife Family Church and for the people of Tenerife.
